um, well, a tip for colored pencils, pressing hard is ok, it'll make a richer texture that in short will look better, your drawing was probly amazing in your head when you imagined it, but your hands just didnt translate it correctly, i know i have that problem. I honestly dont know how this was front paged but with a bit more work you could probly fix it up, i mainly mean shading and sharpening a few lines. Good luck for the future though dear. <:)
